The new country and western venue in Barley Mow Passage looks set to get started with a series of pop up events before fully opening.

It says on its Instagram page that an official launch is to take place next year and “The hottest country joint in town, Lil’ Nashville’s new bar & kitchen is just around the corner!

“We’re bringin’ a whole lotta good vibes to our new bar & kitchen and can’t wait for y’all to see it! From live music to ice-cold drinks and tasty food, we’ve got everything you need for a good time, Southern style!”

At least three events are scheduled with the first two on Friday 6 December and Saturday 7 December.

The tickets for Friday event have sold out already although, at the time of writing there was still availability for Saturday with VIP tickets priced at £50 and standard tickets at £30 with the former including an ‘authentic’ Southern BBQ meal.

Both evenings include an interactive tutorial from The Country Roses line dancing team and on 6 December Nicole Shortland is billed to appear. The singer has penned hits for acts such as Little Mix and NCT and appeared on stage with Justin Bieber.

Another pop up is planned for 25 January next year and a full opening is expected shortly afterwards.

The venue has already obtained a licence from Hounslow Council and can open until 12:30am on Fridays and Saturdays with live music required to cease a quarter of an hour beforehand.

When we visited the site this week, the building was closed and no work was taking place but the interior did appear to be close to completion. Lil Nashville told us that the kitchen is not quite finished which has meant it can only host pop-up events for now.
