Chiswick Flower Market falls on Sunday 5 June and some extra entertainment is being laid on as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

As well as the usual, flower-filled stalls - with an especial focus on British-grown flowers - it will be offering traditional (and free) classic entertainment in the centre of Chiswick. Special limited-edition jubilee-colour jute bags will be available for you to carry your purchases home

A brightly coloured 1900 Victorian carousel will be providing free traditional Mary Poppins rides for children. .

Punch and Judy theatre shows will take place at noon and 1.30pm in an impromptu children’s entertainment space.

There will be brass band entertainment from Brass Band United Social Club, along with other local musicians adding a musical vibe all day long.

Free children’s craft activities will be taking place all day, overseen by Maggie & Rose, nursery and family club.

The George IV will be doing a street BBQ and the street area will be laid out with outdoor tables and chairs, decorated with flowers, for you to bring your own food and drink.
