The Police in Chiswick

A local restaurant owner was arrested this Sunday after the discovery of what the police are describing as 'a mini-arsenal' on his premises.

They were called to the restaurant at around 1am after a Council worker who had been doing overnight road maintenance claimed he had spotted a man brandishing a handgun.

The police have requested that the name of the arrested man and the restaurant not be published as thieves may take the opportunity to raid the premises in the hope of finding firearms.

The man has been arrested on suspicion of offences under the Firearms Act. He was taken to Hounslow Police station and then bailed. The police have confirmed that the man did possess a firearms license but are continuing their investigations.
