The roof space of 136 Cranbrook Road destroyed by fire last night, Thursday 14th June.

According to a neighbour, the blaze started around 4.00am.

It took firefighters around two hours to completely extinguish the flames.

No one is thought to have been injured. However, the house, which was undergoing construction work, was left uninhabitable.

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters from Chiswick, Hammersmith and Acton fire stations attended the scene.

An investigation has begun into the cause of the fire.
