Three men barge into victim's home in Grove Park and flee in silver Audi
A man had to be taken to hospital after three robbers barged into his home in Grove Park and attacked him with a pitchfork and a shovel. The incident occurred at around 11.10pm on Saturday, 9 September on Russell Kerr Close. One of the men hit the 56-year-old victim across the head with the handle of one of the objects before removing his jewellery and watch whilst the other two searched the property. They ran off towards Chiswick Railway Station on Burlington Lane where they were picked up in a silver car, believed to be an Audi. They then drove in the direction of Sutton Court Road. The victim required hospital treatment for his injury but has since been discharged. PC Rhian Whitty from Hounslow Police said: "This was a violent incident which resulted in the victim having to go to hospital. I would like so speak with anyone who was at the station between 22:00 and 22:20hrs who remembers seeing the silver car, or the three men who were all dressed in black. "Any piece of information could help us find these men and prevent them from carrying out further crimes." The suspects, who were all described as white males, were further described as: - Suspect One was 5ft 7inches tall and of slim build. He spoke with a British accent.
