Police confirmed that Shanique Syrena Pearson, of Orsett Street, south-east London, had been charged on Tuesday with driving without reasonable consideration to other road users, failing to licence a vehicle and using threatening, abusive or insulting words of behaviour.

BBC Radio Two presenter Jeremy Vine posted a video on Facebook following the alleged 'road rage' incident where the angry driver shouted at him as he travelled home from work on his bike. The incident was recorded by his helmet camera.

The Chiswick resident and keen cyclist, who recently started presenting the BBC's Crimewatch programme, was on his bike on a narrow road in Kensington at the time.
