A new art supplies shop is opening on Acton Lane taking over the former premises of Party Plus.

The store is set to offer a range of products for artists including water colour paints as well as stationery and materials that can be used for school art and design projects. It is situated opposite the main car park at the Sainsbury’s store which offers two hours free parking.

The new store shares the same web site and phone number as Turnham Arts and Crafts on Bedford Corner, the longstanding art supply shop in the area.

The company's web site shows Lennox Trading Co Ltd as the owner of Turnham Arts and Crafts as well as a number of specialist web sites offering artists’ materials online and that company went into voluntary liquidation on 2 June. Mukesh and Jyoti Mandal are listed as directors with an address in Swindon.

A statement of affairs submitted to Companies House this May shows that there is a deficit to creditors of £229.368.33 including over £87,000 due to HMRC.

Chiswick Arts and Crafts Ltd was formed last October with just one director, Srikanth Reddy Vudumula.
