Now into their third year, local Chiswick fishmongers and seafood bar favourite, The Whistling Oyster, continues to grow and has recently completed building works and expanded upstairs.

‘Upstairs at The Whistling Oyster’ retains all the charm of the original space but will be able to seat an additional 30 people, making it perfect for birthday celebrations or Christmas parties and corporate events.

The menu offering will include favourites from the seafood bar along with some new dishes.
Initially it will be open for private hire, with plans for a reservations area to follow including monthly wine tastings with their British wine and drinks partners, plus lots of other events, including guest chefs and demos.

Sasha Mantel (one of the founders) said,
“We’ve been blown away by the local support we get and struggle to fit everyone in! Opening upstairs will allow us more space and eventually a reservations area. It’s a really exciting time for us.”
