Carlisle 2 - 2 Brentford
Brentford ended their winning away streak with a well earned draw in a land near Scotland.
The topsy-turvy match ended two all with an early goal by Clarkson and a late one by Diagouraga grabbing the point for the bees.
Brentford started well and scored the first after Adams put a fine cross into the far post for Douglas to cushion the ball back to Clarkson who hammered in from 5 yards.
Carlisle then took the upper hand and on 23 minutes Berrett scored from close range. Carlisle's confidence was up and took the game to the Bees. The Bees weathered the storm and finished the first half well.
The Bees also started the second half on top. But just after the hour Clarkson put the ball in his own net under pressure and Carlisle took the lead.
Uwe then introduced a more attacking line up with Donaldson on for Eger and Saunders on for Adams to join Weston who had already replaced Wood. Brentford then piled the pressure on and on 88 minutes Clarkson found Diagouraga who cut inside and fired through the keeper's legs. Both sides had chances to win the game in the final remaining minutes but the game ended a fair draw.
Uwe seemed to go for a solid line up at the start with Woodman back in defence, a solid midfield of Kev, Douglas and Dave and Adams and Wood, the wide men supporting Clarkson.
With Donaldson, Weston and Saunders we had one hell of an attacking bench and needed them in the end.
Bees: Lee; Thompson, Eger (sub Donaldson 72 mins), Llera, Woodman; Douglas, O'Connor, Diagouraga; Wood (sub Weston 57 mins), Clarkson, Adams (sub Saunders 78 mins)
Subs (not used): Moore, Osborne
