Brentford 0 - Swindon Town 1
The Mayor of Hounslow was at the game today but the performance was very much after the Lord Mayor's show.
There was little verve or invention from either side in one of the season's dullest games. Apparently we had two shots on goal but they must have been rubbish as I never noticed them.
Swindon came with the intention of not conceding and that made for a very dull first half as Brentford didn't seem to want to put any effort in. Kev played well at the back of a midfield diamond getting his full backs out of trouble and keeping tabs on an over-manned Swindon midfield.
Swindon eventually realised they could get something from the game, woke up and scored a nice goal from outside the box. They also hit the bar later on.
All in all a poor performance, a poor game and the end of our season.
