Bees earn first point
An eight minute goal from Charlie Macdonald was enough to earn Brentford a share of the points at Swindon
The home side equalised just before half time via former Forest and Leeds man David Prutton.
Brentford played some excellent football in the first half with Myles Weston a constant threat - with Weston and Robbie Simpson both going close.
Swindon started the stronger side after half time but Brentford could have nicked the points late on - Gary Alexander's header only finding the side netting.
It's good to get off the mark... hopefully our first three points will not be far off either. Brentford sit in 22nd position in the table above Tranmere and Dagenham.
Bees - McCarthy, O'Connor, Osborne, Legge, Woodman, Simpson (Adams 68), Bean, Diagouraga, Weston, Macdonald (Forster 85), Alexander
Unused Subs - Lee, McCracken, Balkestein, Spillane, Hunt
