Prices continue to rise in W4 during the Summer months

The latest official figures for the local property market suggest that prices continued to rise during the Summer months.
The average sale price during the month of July was £728,711 with 65 properties changing hands during the month.
Of these thirteen sold for over £1 million with the most expensive selling for £2,750,000 in Strand on the Green.
The July data from Land Registry's flagship House Price Index shows an annual price rise of 0.3% which takes the average property value in England and Wales to £162,900.
London remains the best performing area in the country with prices rising by 6.5% to £367,785 over the same period.
The most up-to-date figures available show that during May 2012, the number of completed house sales in England and Wales increased by 2 per cent to 50,083 compared with 48,974 in May 2011.
The number of properties sold in England and Wales for over £1 million in May 2012 increased by 107 per cent to 562 from 271 in May 2011.
