Lisa Armstrong, the former wife of TV personality, Ant McPartlin has put the house in Grove Park they used to share on the market.

The property still has extensive fire damage after a blaze broke out in the five bedroom home last September which accounts for a £4million price tag, below earlier valuations. According to Land Registry figures, the house was purchased for £2.3million in 2006.

Ms Armstrong kept the property after the couple separated in 2018 and retained it in a divorce settlement reported to be worth £31 million.

She is understood not to have lived at the address for some time and has moved to another home nearby. At the time of the fire last year, she had been renting it out to a family. According to residents of the road, the family were out when the fire broke out, although their nanny was still there and she raised the alarm when she saw smoke coming from a first floor bedroom at the rear.

No people were injured by the fire which required six fire engines and 40 firefighters using a 32m retractable ladder to put out, but the family's cat did not escape. Neighbours were also required to flee their homes.

Investigators concluded that the cause of the fire was electrical.
