Over 350 people turned up at Chiswick Park last Friday (11th July) to witness an Australian themed lunchtime event. Guests on the park were able to practice the art of boomerang throwing, have a go at Kangaroo boxing, watch the kangaroo entertainers the Roos who bounced around the park entertaining the guests and relax listening to authentic Australian music from a trio of didgeridoo players.

The event was part of the Chiswick Park Enjoy-Summer events series, which features a range of different events every Friday from June until September. While the events introduce an element of fun into Friday lunchtimes, they also have a more serious role in encouraging workers to try new activities and gain new skills such as team-building and motivation that can be beneficial in the workplace.

Companies based on the park gain real value from these events, which allow them to mix with other employees. These events are an integral part of the Chiswick Park lifestyle and contribute to creating a true sense of community across the park and among neighbouring residents and businesses.

The events will run every Friday (between 12.00pm-2.00pm) until the end of September and are open both to guests based on the park and to local residents and businesses. The next event – (taking place on Friday 18th July) will feature The Big Picture, a huge giant canvas on which guests will be able to show off their artistic talents.
