TV presenter Eamonn Holmes OBE visited Chiswick this Wednesday (13 November) to give his support for a forthcoming fundraising event for a charity dedicated to rescuing dogs in need.

He was at St. Michael and All Angels Church preparing for a charity carol concert taking place on Thursday 5 December in aid of the K-9 Angels.

It promises to be a memorable night, featuring performances by celebrities, including S Club's Jo O'Meara and Jon Lee, who will headline the carol concert which will be hosted by Eamonn. Many of the dogs rescued by K-9 Angels are also expected to attend.

During a promotional video shoot alongside K-9 Angels founders, musician Pola Pospieszalska former model turned writer and business woman Victoria Featherstone Pearce, Eamonn talked about how much he was looking forward to this dog-friendly event. He became patron of the K-9 Angels 5 years ago alongside Sue Barker MBE. Recently, he helped rehome a rescue dog named Bella which has fuelled his passion for the cause.

Eamonn said, “We’ll be there at The Church , all we and those doggies need is for you to be there too .

“Christmas is a time for giving , and what more could you give than your help , love and respect for these abandoned little dogs?

“Turning up for the Carol Concert is a big statement of Love in this special season . Celebrating Peace and Love through Song and knowing your ticket price has saved a dog’s life.

“I often say none of us ever get more Love than we do from a dog . Well, here’s your chance to put that to the test by showing the good work your ticket subscription can achieve .”

Other celebrities who have backed the charity include Simon Cowell and Ricky Gervais.

K-9 Angels has rehomed over 1,500 dogs and spayed and neutered over 2,000 more over the last 12 years. It has also funded a shelter in Romania that houses 110 dogs and vet facility.

For anyone who cannot be there in person, the concert will be live-streamed the concert from K-9 Angels Instagram & Facebook pages. Any donation to help the dogs in need would be much appreciated.

Tickets for the event cost £30 for adults and £15 for children and are available for purchase online.

St Michael and All Angels Church is on Bath Road, Chiswick (W4 1LW).
