Stars of BBC's Dead Ringers raising funds for The Upper Room
October 9, 2024 An evening of comedy, impressions and entertainment featuring two of the stars off BBC Radio 4’s Dead Ringers is taking place at St. Michael and All Angels Church in Chiswick. Jon Culshaw and Jan Ravens are supporting The Upper Room charity by taking part in this free event. Jon Culshaw is an actor, comedian, voiceover artist and presenter who has also appeared on Spitting Image, The Sky At Night and The Now Show. He also played Boris Johnson in C4’s RTS Award-winning drama Partygate. Jan Ravens brings to life a broad range of female characters, including Theresa May, Liz Truss, Diane Abbott and Fiona Bruce – all of whom are likely to make an appearance on the evening, along with a certain Kamala Harris. Attendees will be invited to submit questions during the ‘interview’. The event takes place on Wednesday 16 October and runs from 8pm to 9.15pm with doors open half an hour beforehand. Tickets are free but donations to The Upper Room are appreciated. The Upper Room is a charity based in W12 which supports some of the most vulnerable in our community. It provides a warm, nourishing meal five days a week to those who need it, help those with convictions to gain a driving licence and support people into employment.
