Hogarth Singers evolved from a choir set up at IBM called The Meistersingers in the early 1980s. It is a registered charity which has the aim of promoting a love of choral music and developing public education in the art and science of music in all its aspects by presenting public concerts and recitals.
It welcomes new members and has a special rate of £10 per term for under 25s.
It is also offering new bass and tenor singers a discount of 50% for their first term.
Rehearsals are every Monday evening and the choir performs three concerts a year, in St Michael & All Angels Church , Bath Road, Chiswick W4 1TT.
Membership ranges between 50 – 60 people and it sings a wide range of choral music, both sacred and secular. The group also organises other activities which enable the choir to sing in a new setting and to enjoy some more sociable experiences not always involving singing.
