CLEAN UP DAY NEXT SATURDAY

Traders' Association and Council get together
to clean up our streets

and after at Turnham Green Terrace
following the last clean up
day

On
Saturday 21st September there will be another
graffiti clean up day in Chiswick following
the huge success of the previous event. The
clean up day will commence at 8.30am and will
be co-ordinated from a tent on Chiswick Common
near Turnham Green Terrace.
Chiswick
Traders Association have agreed to sponsor
contractors & equipment and the police are
are looking for people to help them on the
day by cleaning grafitti from smooth surfaces
such as lamp posts and street furniture.
They
would also appreciate it if people could paint
out any graffiti on their property before this
date.
The
partnership is looking for people to help out
on the day and for businesses to clean their
premises. Removal fluid, wipes, gloves tc.
will be provided.
A
successful clean-up on the 6th July 2002 removed
fly posting and graffiti from Turnham Green,
Grove Park Bridge, Stamford Brook Bridge and
along the wall of Belmont School.
