Chiswick Horticultural Society Summer Show took place on Saturday 17 June 2006 at Grove Park Primary School.
The event was a great success with spectacular displays of roses, sweet peas, delphiniums, lilies, herbs and hanging baskets while in the fruit and vegetable categories there were strong entries in the gooseberries, strawberries, rhubarb, broad been and onion categories.
There was a fun tombola in which every ticket won a prize - and delicious home-made cakes 
and teas were available.
The prizes were presented by celebrity florist Tom Vach of Notting Hill's Harper & Tom's.
This was the first Show under the auspices of new CHS Chairman, John Hole. Special thanks are also due to Show Organiser, Rosemary Day.
