Winners of Poetry Competition Announced | |||||
13 local schools compete in largest competition yet
The winners of this years Young People's Poetry Competition in association with the Chiswick Book Festival have been announced. There were entrants from 13 local schools, making this year's competition the largest ever. The organisers say “The freshness and energy of their writing has been a delight” Southfield School was awarded two first prizes. Winners were also from Bute House, William Hogarth, Chiswick & Bedford Park, Ibstock Place, Orchard House, Godolphin & Latymer and Latymer Upper schools and St Paul’s Girls’. Belmont school also received a Commendation. The winners, runners up and commendations from all years are listed below.
