The Friends of Cavendish, the PTA of Cavendish Primary School, is inviting the local community to attend its Summer Fair next Saturday (13 July).

Entrance is free for the event run by volunteers at the school from 12pm to 3pm.

There will be so many things for families to get involved with on the day, including an inflatable assault course and bouncy castle which are being sponsored by Harpers of Chiswick, the sales and lettings agency specialising in Chiswick property.

There will also be games, raffle, arts and crafts, and face painting pls an opportunity to taste food and cakes from around the world made by the parents and children from Cavendish. There will also be special performances from Chiswick School and Ghost Troupe.

To encourage everyone to get involved, not just school families, there is a Silent Auction which anyone can bid on and which has some amazing prizes including dinners, camps, haircuts and bespoke artwork from local artist Kristjana S Williams.

You can use this link to get bidding.

The school's PTA said, "We want to say a huge thank you to Harpers of Chiswick for sponsoring both the assault course and the bouncy castle at our Summer Fair! The children were full of joy and incredibly excited when they saw what we had planned and we hope they have a day to remember!"

Friends of Cavendish (FOC) is the school’s Parent and Teacher Association, in which every parent and carer is automatically a part of when they join the school. Membership is open to all staff members, extended family and anyone in the community who would like to support the school. To keep up to date with events, follow FOC on Instagram and Facebook.

Cavendish is a popular local primary school with fewer than 200 children. A new head teacher was appointed two years ago and along with a new PTA, a bigger and better Summer Fair is planned this year, to help raise the school's profile.
The purpose of FOC is to raise money for the school to enrich the children's education, including funding trips, workshops and additional educational resources.

Harpers of Chiswick is an award-winning estate agency specialising in W4. Husband and wife duo Christian & Gill Harper have over 25 years of local knowledge, having sold or let at least one property in every street in Chiswick.

Gill Harper said, “We are keen to support Cavendish School because it’s a wonderful community asset and it’s on our doorstep as we live in Grove park. The Summer Fair promises to be a great success and we're happy to sponsor it.”
