CORMAC MURPHY O'CONNOR VISITS CHISWICK Cardinal attends Fr. Michael's last confirmation service This was a very special occasion as it was Fr. Michael's 13th and last confirmation in the parish. He was given warm praise by the Cardinal for his work in the community, and was touched by the spontaneous round of applause given by a full congregation. In turn, he praised this year's Candidates who he said were a credit to their parents, in the time they had set aside to study for their confirmation and in the way they had presented themselves for the occasion. Afterwards, in the parish centre, the Cardinal handed out Confirmation Certificates and met with members of the local community.
