The Estate of the late Jim Mathieson have now decided to sell the maquette of the Hogarth statue.

This is a "one off" opportunity to acquire a unique piece of Hogarth memorabilia which the definitive work by Jim prior to the commissioning of the statue.

The Executors of Jim's estate have agreed to donate a very generous contribution towards the upkeep of Hogarth's House from the sale of the maquette.

The maquette can be seen at Hogarth's house during opening hours, which are April to October: Tuesday to Friday 1pm to 5pm; Saturday, Sunday and Bank holiday Mondays 1pm to 6pm. November, December, February & March: Tuesday to Friday 1pm to 4pm; Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays 1pm to 5pm. Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and all of January closed. Always closed on Mondays. Admission free.
