Chaos in Chiswick as collision forces road closure | |||||||
Heavy traffic was caused by both lanes of North Circular being shut
Traffic chaos ensued on the streets of Chiswick this week after a two car collision. The incident occurred around lunchtime on Tuesday 10th January on the stretch of the North Circular which runs from Chiswick Roundabout up to Gunnersbury Lane. The two cars collided head on near to Chiswick Roundabout. Thankfully neither driver was seriously injured. How the accident, which closed both lanes of this busy road for hours, actually happened is currently being investigation by Traffic Police although it is thought that one of the drivers was traveling on the wrong side of the road. The road closure impacted all the roads around Chiswick including the M4 after the sliproad exit was closed.
