Irish company chooses Chiswick for its next 4 star hotel
The owners of Dublin's renowned Red Cow Moran Hotel have announced that work has commenced on their new Four Star Hotel in London's "exclusive Chiswick High Road." Chiswick Moran Hotel, which will have 116 bedrooms, 22 exclusive suites, a restaurant, bar and leisure centre, with ample car parking and sophisticated meeting room facilities, will become the group's fourth four star hotel. In keeping with our strategy of providing luxury four star hotels in highly accessible locations, Chiswick benefits from being situated at the end of the M4 at the junction of the North Circular, South Circular and A4, a mere twenty minutes journey from both central London and Heathrow Airport." Moran Hotels is a family concern, owned and operated by the Moran Family. Although Tom Moran, Managing Director Moran Hotels & Bars, cut his business teeth on pubs he definitely sees the future of the group to be in hotels - both nationally and internationally. Limerickman Moran began his career in the hospitality industry, which spans some 35 years, in London during the swinging sixties. The Red Cow Inn, the first Irish pub to be sold for a I£1 million, today is one of the most famous landmark pubs in Ireland with a great reputation for good food. It's opening was closely followed by the acquisition of The Crown, one of London’s oldest and most elegant pubs, which Moran realised had the potential to be developed into a hotel complex. Opened in 2003, The Crown marked Moran's first venture into the international hotel market.
