Heathfield Terrace Paint Job Divides Local Opinion
Not since the High Road House awnings has an exterior provoked such strength of opinon as the new paint work on Heathfield Terrace. Initially thought to be an undercoat, the green exterior, which undoubtedly makes a statement, sparked a forum debate on matters of taste, tawdriness and Tobermoray. "Has anyone noticed the dreadful lime green external redecoration of the house on the corner of Heathfield Terrace and Sutton Court Road? I can't believe that anyone thinks it looks nice. Or maybe it's an undercoat?" was the comment that started the ball rolling receiving responses ranging from - "I think it looks great - a slightly sick green, but think it works nicely there and adds a good bit of colour to Chiswick." to "My mother described the colour as bilious! It certainly does not fit with the other pastel shades of the terrace. I really cannot believe anyone would want that colour on their house." Meanwhile the debate continues on the forum.
