Tuesday morning's Capital Radio Breakfast Show was presented live from a bus parked next to Fullers Brewery in Chiswick Lane South

The indomitable Mr Vaughan returned to Chiswick (the Capital Radio television ads were filmed here) to broadcast his show live from a specially converted routemaster parked outside The Mawson Arms.

He was joined on the bus by Chiswick resident and fellow presenter Richard Bacon (pictured below with the head of Fuller's pr team)

This once tired out-of-service bus was about to be decommissioned and sent to the great scrap heap in the sky.

However, the nice people at Capital Radio wanted to preserve one of London's most iconic symbols, bought the old Number 159 and installed a mobile studio.

Promoter of all things British, quintessential Londoner Johnny Vaughan is currently travelling around the capital bringing his own unique brand of early morning humour to local streets.
