Local brewery named "Brewer of the Year 2005"
Chiswick brewer Fuller's has been named 'Brewer of the Year 2005' by pub company Tynemill. The award was voted for by Tynemill, who own 20 pubs across the North of England, and pub managers in recognition of Fuller's excellent range of quality beers, their consistent quality and marketing support.
High praise indeed considering that Tynemill certainly knows a thing or two about real ales as its chairman, Chris Holmes, was the first-ever chairman of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
Sean Griffiths, Fuller's national account manager, said "Every one of Tynemill's pubs took Fuller's spring and autumn festival beers, as well as London Pride, Discovery and ESB. The managers were also pleased with the quality of support we give our beers in the trade. "I'm very pleased that we've been awarded in this way - especially by pubs that are quite a few miles away from Fuller's traditional heartland in the South East."
