A fire broke out at Chris's Fish Bar on Turnham Green Terrace this Monday morning (15 June).

London Fire Brigade said that 25 firefighters are at the scene.

Smoke was seen billowing out of the premises of popular chip shop. Part of the ground floor of the mid-terraced shop was alight.

Simon Johnson who owns the nearby Marmalade jewellery store said, "I can say this was a serious situation and dealt with amazingly by the first responders from the fire brigade and metropolitan police. Never a good call to hear that a property near yours is on fire. I was on site ASAP and am pleased to report that a: no one is hurt. B: unfortunately Chris’s fish and chips suffered serious damage. I’m so devastated that after the past 3 months of trials and tribulations one of my neighbours has to now go through this. Please remember to shop local, do it safely and protect our community."
