Be aware of your surroundings and the people around you whilst on Chiswick's streets. That's the warning from Chiswick police after a woman was robbed of her mobile phone outside Gunnersbury Baptist Church on Burlington Rd on Thurs 16th Sept.

After leaving The Pilot pub at 2145 the 23 year old female victim was confronted by two suspects who then stole her credit cards and Samsung mobile phone.

The two suspects are described as a black male in his late 20s, 5 foot 3 tall with short dark hair, wearing a dark hooded jacket and baggy trousers and white male, also late 20s, 5 foot 5 tall with short cropped hair and wearing a green zip up army style jacket.

Police are also on the lookout for two men who robbed a delivery van parked in Essex Place, behind La Tasca tapas bar, on Wed 15th Sept. At 1150 AM the driver of the van noticed a Red Ford Mondeo backed up to his vehicle. Bottles of Jack Daniels valued at £130 at Smirnov Vodka at £100 had been put into the car.

The delivery driver confronted the two suspects , who made off in the Mondeo registration number K643 BHO. The delivery driver was knocked aside by the car, although he was not hurt.

The suspects are described thus: both white males in their mid 20s of slim build. One was wearing a baseball cap with two stripes down each side
