A woman had her handbag snatched by a youth on a bicycle as she walked along Chiswick High Road.

The incident happened on Friday 7th December at 18.30 as the 27 year old victim walked past Blockbuster Video.

She was approached from behind by several black youths riding along the pavement on bicycles.

One of the youths grabbed the victim's handbag containing mobile, keys, purse and personal belongings and made off in the direction of Hammersmith.

The victim can only describe the suspect who took the bag as being a black male aged 17 years, 6’2” wearing a navy blue top with red/white stripes down arm, dark tracksuit bottoms and navy woolly hat.
