Vehicle break in on Belmont Road |
Two boys on bikes in daylight smash and grab Police are appealing for witnesses and information relating to a break in to a vehicle on Belmont Road W4 on the 17th March. The incident took place at 2pm. Two youths broke the driver's side window of a BMW estate and took a brown satchel style handbag. The car was parked by the Fishers Lane playground. The youths rode across Chiswick Back Common and turned left under the bridge at Turnham Green station. At that point a member of the public who was in pursuit lost sight of them. They may have proceeded north up the Avenue, up Woodstock Road or turned into Bath Road. There was a large crowd of people on Chiswick Back Common, possibly for a school sports event and the suspects would have rode past. The youths are described as being aged around 17 both white and of slim build. One was wearing a blue hooded top and the other was wearing a blue anorak type top with a hooded garment underneath.
