BACK TO SCHOOL FOR LOCAL MP

Ann Keen visits Chiswick Community School

Local MP, Ann Keen, visited the school last week to congratulate them on their designation as a Technology College, and to visit the key faculties of ICT, Maths, Science and Technology.

She talked to a range of students and looked at work in progress. She was particularly impressed by some of the Science experiments and by the GCSE coursework in Technology.

 

  

“School wasn’t like this in my days!” she said, and she’s looking forward to coming back on a more regular basis to see the developments that will be taking place, both in terms of refurbishment of key areas and within the curriculum.

Chiswick Community School recently secured funding of over £500,000 which will enable it to secure Technology College status.
