Fundraising Night for Street Kids Rescue
Duncan Mundell, Clapham Junction businessman (owner of Party Superstore which was burnt down during the London riots), and founder of registered charity Street Kids Rescue, will be hosting a Variety Night Fundraiser at Chiswick Town Hall on Saturday 10th September 7:00pm-10:30pm to raise urgent funds to continue to support basic care, education and health initiatives in South East Asia. The Variety Night Fundraiser has the support of the local community and council. Since the destruction of his Clapham Junction business, Duncan Mundell has struggled to inject funds into his charity as profits usually earmarked for Street Kids Rescue are now being directed to cover stock replacement and staffing costs. It is hoped that the Variety Night Fundraiser will help generate income for the charity by bringing together members of the community who will receive a night’s entertainment from an array of performers, including musical acts Woman-E and Air Guitar UK band Aerosmith. The ‘Coach With the Hat’, Elliot Kay, will compere the evening and special guests include Miss Commonwealth Jasmine Johnson and ITV comedian Harry Hill. The evening will consist of an auction and raffle of high profile brand prizes, some of which include; iPad2, Salmanazar of champagne, YooMoo frozen yoghurt, unique experiences such as rides in supercars Ferrari, Lamborghini, rare signed memorabilia by celebrities; Torres, Freddy Mercury, Elvis Presley, Darth Vader actor Dave Prowse, Dannii Minogue, McFly, JLS and Pixie Lott and original artwork by Cambodian orphans.
