Marathon Mum Makes A Difference

Chiswick mother of three runs for local children

Jean Hennessy, for 12 years a local resident, finished the London Marathon in 4 hrs 17 minutes. She ran in aid of World Roadshow Playscheme, a church-run summer play and travel experience for children in South Acton, getting sponsorship from both sides of the Atlantic.

She hopes to raise £2,000 for this work.

World Roadshow is sponsored by The Parish of Acton Green, where Jean and her family attend church.

Jean came in 14,864th overall, 700th in her age group.
