Local band need someone to play at London Marathon gig
Local charity rock band the Bad Dads are urgently looking for a stand-in bass player for a fundraising gig at the London Marathon on 17th April. Spokesman Jeremy Nako explains, "We are booked to play at the London Marathon this year. We'll be playing on the route itself entirely for charity, and on behalf of Spinal Research. Unfortunately, Mark, our bass player had an operation on his arm at the weekend, which has put him out of action for the Marathon gig." So the band are urgently looking for a bass player who can step in, rehearse and play with them on Sunday 17th April. We play rock covers from the sixties to today. Jeremy says, "I'm sure it'll be a real experience and obviously it's for a great cause." Anyone who feels they can help please call Jeremy on 07768 844377 to discuss. March 11, 2005 |
