‘Dumbledore’ Bucks The Trend And Leaves Town
Two years of Chiswick apparently enough as Sir Michael Gambon goes home to his wife

We hear mostly of celebrities moving into Chiswick however, it appears that Sir Michael Gambon aka Harry Potter’s Dumbledore has gone the other way.
The notoriously private actor is reported to have moved back in with his estranged wife after leaving his lover with whom he has shared a home in Chiswick for the past two years.
67 year old Gambon, who had been having a relationship with 42 year old set designer Philippa Hart for more than six years, left his wife of 40 years when Hart became pregnant. According to reports, the relationship had been an ‘open secret’ in the theatrical world for some time.
Recent photographs of Gambon looking drained and tired, one of which was taken as the couple sat outside High Road House, sparked concerns that fatherhood was taking its toll on the BAFTA winning actor.
