Ant McPartlin Charged With Drink Driving

TV presenter will appear in court in April

Ant McPartlin, the Chiswick-based TV presenter has been charged with drink driving, police confirmed today (March 21).

It follows his arrest on Sunday after a collision involving three vehicles on the Lower Richmond Road in Mortlake.

The presenter attended Kingston upon Thames police station today and he was interviewed under caution.

A police statement said: "A man has been charged following a road traffic collision in Lower Richmond Road, SW14 that occurred on Sunday, 18 March.

"Anthony McPartlin, 42 of Chiswick has been charged by postal requisition on Wednesday, 21 March with drink driving.

"He will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on 4 April."
