Other half of Chiswick based duo acts as best man
Locally based TV show host Declan Donnelly has got married to his agent, Ali Astall, this weekend. The service was conducted at St Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Elswick, Newcastle by Dec’s brother Father Dermott Donnelly. Ant McPartlin was, of course, the best man and among the guests were a number of the pairs celebrity friends. These included Philip Schofield, Fearne Cotton, Tess Daly, Keith Lemon and Newcastle United legends Peter Beardsley and Alan Shearer. The lifelong friends wore matching blue suits which they showed off to the crowds of well-wishers outside the Church while leaning on an Aston Martin Vanquish. Ali and Dec become engaged last year while in Australia to record 'I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here'.
39-year-old Dec, who has been based in Chiswick for several years, has been dating Ali for about two and a half years. However they have known each other in a professional capacity for over ten years. They have been living together in Chiswick for over a year and have even now got a dog Rocky. Dec was best man for Ant when he got married Lisa Armstrong in 2006. August 2, 2015 |
