Chiswick Business Park went to extraordinary lengths to put a smile back on the face of office workers who have the hump after a wet and miserable British Summertime.

This afternoon (Friday 5th September) saw Chiswick Park transformed into a desert oasis, bringing a taste of the Sahara to a corner of West London. Thirty-six tonnes of sand imported to the Park’s Events Square surrounded the lake and waterfall, with the exotic scene made complete by Moroccan tents and a caravan of camels.

Office workers based at the business park and local residents were invited to kick off their shoes and slip on their flip flops, and relax in their very own desert oasis.

A North African Tribal Drum Workshop and a henna tattoo artist added to the relaxation and authenticity of the setting, and the more adventurous enjoyed camel rides albeit under the cover of umbrellas!

The event was the grand finale The Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work's summer events programme.
