The Enjoy-Work team at Chiswick Business Park has come up with a novel formula to raise the gloomy spirits of their ‘guests’, even in the depths winter.

According to Cliff Arnall, health psychologist at Cardiff University, January 23rd is Britain’s unhappiest day. Arnall devised a formula based on the poorest weather, debts owed for seasonal spending, the time since Christmas, the period of time before you abandon New Year's resolutions and the dates when motivation levels seems to be at their lowest.

With this in mind, the Enjoy-Work team has organised an escape from the winter blues for the afternoon and will be offering employees at the business park rides on a ‘Ski Blizzard’.

The latest, high tech ski simulator will allow workers to experience the excitement of racing each other down the slopes, almost as if they were holidaying in the French Alps.

Sarah Green of Enjoy-Work said ‘It is scientifically proven that this the most difficult time of the year, and not everyone has the opportunity to get away and escape from it all. Well, if we can’t take the guests to the slopes, we can bring the slopes to the park, and this means everyone can enjoy a piece of the action!’
