Ant gets speeding ban Chiswick
resident Ant McPartlin today received a 30 day driving ban and was fined £350
after been caught travelling at 127mph in his Audi TT. The speed limit on the
road in Co Durham was 70mph. The incident occured on 27th July this year when
Ant was visiting his family. A
Durham Police spokesman said: "Even though it was a summer's evening, driving
at 127mph is folly." He
pleaded guilty at a court hearing in Chester-le-Street. He now will have to be
chaffeured by his friend and co-presenter who is his next door neighbour but one.
He told
The Sun: "I was travelling pretty quick. It was silly and I have learnt my lesson.
It was a one-off and I have no complaints with the ban. Sign
