Man hit by car on Sunday morning was from Acton

The man who was hit by a car in Shepherd’s Bush on Sunday (26th October) has died in hospital.

He has been named as Daniel Garcia, aged 25, from Acton.
Mr Garcia, was crossing the road when he was struck by a dark coloured Vauxhall Astra. He suffered serious head injuries and was taken to a central London hospital where he was pronounced dead on Tuesday.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit continue to appeal for witnesses to the road traffic which took place at about 2:30pm on the Uxbridge Road, W12, near the junction with Coverdale Road. The driver stopped but was not arrested

Police ask that anyone who witnessed the incident or with other information to contact Detective Constable Iain Lister at the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 020 8543 5157.
