Airlifted to hospital after collision near Kew Bridge

A man is reported to be in a critical condition after being involved in a collision on Chiswick High Road in the early hours of this morning (16th September).

At around 3.45am a lorry and a car collided just north of Kew Bridge.

The man was taken to hospital by air ambulance.

Roads around Kew Bridge and Chiswick Roundabout are subject to heavy congestion but the road has now reopened after being closed for much of the morning rush hour.

There were no arrests made and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
