Appearing at Labour fundraiser at The George IV
Red Dwarf star Norman Lovett and RMT union boss Bob Crow will both appear at Stand Up for Labour on 21 October at the George VI pub, Chiswick High Road. The fundraiser is for Brentford and Isleworth Labour Party. Earlier this year a similar event featured Arthur Smith and former Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone. Also appearing are Edinburgh Festival favourite Adam Bloom, Paul Ricketts and Sir Ian Bowler MP (a character act playing a Conservative politician). As well as a speech from Bob Crow, Hayes & Harlington MP John Mc Donnell will also be making an appearance on stage. Norman Lovett is happy to support the fundraiser for Brentford and Isleworth Labour Party, but knows to stick to comedy. 'I have to always try to remember I'm there to get laughs, but still make a point if possible,' he said. Tickets cost £10/£8 concessions. For more information, go to standupforlabour.co.uk
