Missing appointments because of childcare crisis are now a thing of the past thanks to the clever people at COSMO.  Tailored made for Chiswick, the hair and beauty spa has come up with the ingenious idea of providing childcare for customers on site meaning that whilst you being coiffured, pummeled and buffed - your offspring can also have a lovely time playing in the creche.

A father himself, Cosmo's Christos understood the frustrations of trying to fit appointments in around childcare and so he did something about it. "It's annoying when you're forced to miss an appointment for any reason, but when it came to having to look after children we realised that we could help out."  said Christos "So we converted a space at the back of the salon into a lovely colourful creche playroom and filled it with books and toys for the children."

The seal of approval was given by four year old Phoebe who was invited by Christos to give the creche playroom a test run.  "I can confirm that only did she have a lovely time, but she now asks to go to the hairdressers to play!" said her mother.

Located on the Chiswick High Road opposite Boots, this family run salon has been part of Chiswick's community for 35 years many of which have be spent focusing primarily on hair, specialising in hair colouring.  The salon has managed to attract some of the top hairdressing talent in the country and was recently featured on ITV's Poor Little Rich Girls watched by 6 million viewers.

The building was refurbished last year and a Beauty Day Spa was added above the salon. A short climb up the stairs transports clients from the hustle bustle of the High Road to the tranquility of Morocco and into a decor that creates a sense of luxury and relaxation providing the perfect setting for the extensive range of treatments and therapies on offer.

In addition to beauty treatments, a Mother and Child Clinic has recently been launched by three senior therapists who cover Homeopathy, Osteopathy and Cranial Osteopathy and Nutritional Therapy for Mothers, Mothers-to-be, and their children. The first of its kind in Chiswick , the clinic is made all the more effective because the therapists are able to consult with each other on their patients.
