NON-ESSENTIAL SHOPS RE-OPENING AFTER COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS ON THE 15TH JUNE

"I have been operating my retail business on Chiswick High Road for 32 years and during that time have seen many changes in the economy, retail, and my industry but none quite like this. Thankfully these changes over the years have enabled us to be flexible and adapt to any situation so we are doing the same again.

"Since the government announced we could re-open we have been busy following the Covid 19 guidelines to make sure our store is safe for our customers and colleagues. My colleagues and I are looking forward to getting back to what we know best, offering a personalised service and working with our customers to create products that make the most of their memories.

"I can remember when I was growing up, there were local shops where all the produce, tins, etc were behind the counter and customers presented a shopping list to be fulfilled then waited while the shopping was taken care of by the shop assistants. The High Street changed then to meet customer expectations, and now we must and will change again. 

"If you walk around Chiswick you can see the changes in shops now trading and also in the shops preparing to re-open. Business owners are busy getting ready, painting, cleaning, setting up screens and safe distancing markers.

"Soon we will be training our colleagues and setting up new ways to help our customers with a personal service that you would expect from a local shop.

"We know opening up the High Road safely is important to our customers and also very important to us.  We have taken the Government Guidance and are applying it as best we can so that our customers feel safe and comfortable when they shop with us."

"Even with all our preparations some people may prefer not to come to the High Road at the moment. At Snappy Snaps Chiswick we are offering a Frame from Home service.

"We can talk through your requirements and collect your artwork/imagery from your home .

"With the aid of our new live video our Framing Specialist will go through all the ranges and options and offer advice and guidance similar to the process in the store.

"To book this service just email us at  snappysnapschiswick2@gmail.com and we will arrange a convenient time to collect your artwork/imagery.

"We will make and deliver your finished frame, and are offering a free delivery service to W4 postcode.

"We were closed for a long time and are excited to be re-opening on the 15th June and seeing all our customers again, it's been too long.."
