Give the Gift of Sight with Santro & Peche Opticians and Get Free Nikon Lenses | |
Free lenses with every new frame purchased in return for unwanted glasses throughout January
All through January, Santro & Peche Opticians are giving free Nikon lenses to the value of £75 with every new frame purchased in return for unwanted glasses. The company is working with the charity Vision Aid Overseas to help provide eye examinations and spectacles to patients in the developing world and all the donated specs will go to Vision Aid Overseas to be refurbished and distributed to the people who need them. And if you don't wear glasses you can still help the work of Vision Aid Overseas by making a donation. This is the second time Santro & Peche Opticians have raised money and spectacles for Vision Aid Overseas. In October they worked with I-Go Optical and Enjoy Work at Chiswick Business Park to raise awareness for 'World Sight Day 2009'. An offshoot was that they collected 75 pairs of used prescription glasses and £400.00 which were donated to Vision Aid Overseas. Speaking about his company's charity work, Shafquet Mohamed of Santro & Peche said: "The work of Vision Aid Overseas is fantastic. By giving the gift of sight to people in the developing world, they also give the potential to work and make money and provide for their families. I really hope the people of Chiswick will come and take advantage of our free lens offer and give us their unwanted glasses. "And we're offering 20% off all sunglasses!"
