This Christmas will see the end of an era at Bedford Corner as Mr Lad shuts up shop to retire.

For more than 30 years Mr Lad has been the smiling face that greeted men women and children alike in his Chiswick newsagents. However, due to the expiry of his lease, Mr Lad has decided to call it a day.

He will be greatly missed by everyone.
