Leisurewear Store Zakti Opens On High Road

New niche leisure/sportswear boutique in Superdrug site

The outdoor shop Mountain Warehouse has decided to open its new spinoff Zakti, on the former Superdrug site.

Zakti is described as a new active brand bringing a fresh range of active and fitness clothing and accessories to the market. It specialises in clothing for leisure and hobbies, ranging from running to yoga and gym gear.

A similar Zakti store opened in Islington recently. Zakti is a Sanscrit word for energy or power.

Mountain Warehouse has been selling quality outdoor clothing and equipment sinceover 160 stores and was founded in 1997 The stores and online site offer hiking clothing and camping equipment, ski wear and running gear for men, women and children.

However, its new venture Zakti, which was set up earlier this year, is geared more towards leisure and hobby wear, including street wear such as fashionable parka jackets, trainers, and teeshirts.
